Metallographic
Laboratory
Used to check the structure of the parts produced, composed of a polishing machine for sample preparation that will be analyzed under a microscope and subjected to a durometer to check Brinell hardness (HB).
Hardness
Hardness is a measure that estimates how much a solid material resists permanent deformation when a force is applied to it.
We use the Brinell Scale (HB) to measure the parts produced. The measurement is made by penetrating a sphere into the surface of the material to be tested.
Cold Box
It is a molding system in which the sand is mixed with two types of resin and cured by gasifying a catalyst.
ABOUT US
Castersul Fundição, founded in July 2011, located in the metal-mechanic center in the industrial district of Monte Bérico in Caxias do Sul, has a total area of 20,000 m² with 2,000 m² of manufacturing plant. Our production has a capacity of 4 thousand tons / year of gray and nodular cast iron parts.
As a growth strategy, we consist of focusing our production line on casting parts in the automotive, agricultural, hydraulic components and machinery segments. The foundry process encompasses total environmental concern, as well as providing products with quality standards that meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
WE HAVE OUR OWN LABORATORY TO GUARANTEE QUALITY IN THE MERGE OF ITS PARTS IN ORDER TO MEET MARKET REQUIREMENTS.
